so you found a site that is somehow interesting and you want to search it for a particular word or phrase but they don't provide a search mechanism - what do? well, you can use Google with a query like "some search terms" site:example.com, or, if using Firefox and the Search Site extension, you can search right from the Firefox search bar by clicking the new search icon, or using Ctrl+Enter as a really quick method
This is really useful as well as using the search date tools because so many websites have popped up in the last month, I typically will limit my search to Oct 1st and earlier to try and filter out most of the noise from the last few months. It still seems to leak through things like "related article" that show up on some pages, but it filters out the bulk of it.
