Due to recent so called "incidents" or whatever you shall call it. We want to put in writing, that unwritten rule.
Pizzagate and it's civilian investigators will not condone threats/actions of any kind to individuals, or businesses, named or otherwise in any evidence accumulated over the course of this investigation.
Doing so may net you a ban. We don't want to censor anyone, but we also don't want any reason for this forum to be shut down.
Questions, feel free to ask. I may not be able to respond tonight, but we shall respond when we have the time. You may also ping individuals directly.
Keep digging, we all want to bring down this putrid ring.

This is voat. This sub will not get shut down for users threatening other users. Talk to the PV mods; they'll tell you how it works around here. Do not spread false information, especially as a moderator of one of the largest subs on this forum. Thanks.

It's not the sub - the US govt can now shut down sites they paint as 'russian conspirators'. With the false flag today outside comet pizza there's suspicion it will be used to discredit pizzagate and potentially have the site voat.co shut down - not just the sub, for 'inciting violence' or whatever. In case you weren't aware, Voat.co is a US company with servers IN THE US.
So I think @codewow has valid concerns on how we appear to the public, and how we could impact voat if we are seen to be 'inciting violence' around a topic that there is huge pressure to censor.
We definitely DO NOT want people on this forum to get the idea that we condone physical attacks or anything like that. That is the intention.
happy for @crensch and @kevdude to weigh in

The rule needs to be "Threats/actions against anyone, or any business is not condoned, and will be removed."
At least that's my thought. @kevdude?
Edit: I rescind this comment, but please read my responses to kevdude below and keep them in mind.
