"McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of subversion or treason without proper regard for evidence.[1] It also means "the practice of making unfair allegations or using unfair investigative techniques, especially in order to restrict dissent or political criticism."[2] The term has its origins in the period in the United States known as the Second Red Scare, lasting roughly from 1950 to 1956 and characterized by heightened political repression against supposed communists, as well as a campaign spreading fear of their influence on American institutions and of espionage by Soviet agents. Originally coined to criticize the anti-communist pursuits of Republican U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin, "McCarthyism" soon took on a broader meaning, describing the excesses of similar efforts."
honestly, the write ups on washington post and other media right now is really concerning - the fakenews meme is the one of the most orwellian things that has come up in my lifetime..
why would people be so dismissive of evidence that could potentially save the lives of children? even if we are wrong, brushing over the important points, attacking straw man arguments, and ignoring the real political and financial links here just seems so retarded...
I can't believe people are reacting this way, and not actually looking into the concerning points

This is interesting.
The MSM in the election and now with Pizzagate are acting as though they are PRAVDA in a Soviet-style system.
In fact, the internet has created a democracy of news reporting where ANYONE has access to the world. By attacking it as 'conspiracy' people know to look further. They've shown during the election how much they lie.
I think this is more a symptom of the dead media (newspapers) not realizing they are already six feet under.
