The FBI appears to be involved in such coverups. Pedophilia and child porn is known to be reaching crisis levels among public officials and government employees. Producing child porn has become a lucrative business, which is partly what entices a lot of people into it, but many others simply enjoy sexually abusing kids. I found yesterday that a Nevada prison psychologist pointed out that pedophiles have the same personality as serial killers, so it's easy to understand how pedophile rings could be involved in serial murder.
