To all the naysayers: you are missing the point. Maybe because the thread is mistitled. Op is saying that the "majestic ape" character is a role that can be filled by multiple actors. Sort of like the idea of anonymous. And because of the anonymity of the character both Amanda and James could be playing the character of "majestic ape"
