It's disturbing, but it doesn't seem strong. Do you have evidence of any contemporary groups using this statue in their messaging?

The fact that the owner of the blog is definitely into youths also backs it up. Once again, it's not a pedo blog, but that's definitely there. Though the pedophilia is glossed over as normal. As I said, the veneration of that french guy who was clearly disturbed is telling.

Not yet. I'm not a dark web guy. What interesting is that the blog has a real strong "boy" (teenager) vibe at parts of it. Though I don't think it's an all out pedo blog. It seems to be a guy who has identified himself as liking young teenage boys, and has built a mythology around it. The weirdest piece is that comment where that one gay dude was talking about that pedo who used "Antinoo" as his username on a dating website, which is definitely "Antinous" the statue guy. That there is a blog that has this same stuff going on is trippy.

Thanks for the reply. It does seem like a potential culture clue. Anything that involves more than one person, people have to find some way to communicate.

Thank you for the comment. I'll keep working at it. Though it's not going to lead to any arrest. The biggest upside I see is being able to establish it as a known symbol, which then has James Alefantis dead to rights. It's looking more like a "soft" symbol than a "hard" one if we can use that term.
