James Alefantis was quoted in the Washinton Post referring to storing inventory for use at Comet over at Buck's Camping & Fishing, 2 doors down from Comet.
Propertyshark lists 5031 Connecticut Ave (Buck's) as a 2 story building. http://www.propertyshark.com/mason/Property/11881125/5031-Connecticut-Ave-NW-Washington-DC-20008/
Propertyshark lists 5037 Connecticut Ave (Comet) as a 2 story building. http://www.propertyshark.com/mason/Property/11881126/5037-Connecticut-Ave-NW-Washington-DC-20008/
They are in the same building, so unless Buck's has an upstairs floor, logic dictates that Comet also has a basement, just as Buck's does.

They're not in the same building. Buildings may not have been built at the same time or by the same people.

Every building on that row is listed on property info websites as 2 stories. Except CVS building. Evidence is really stackin up now. What is the probability of basement at comet now about 90% conservatively?
