Haiti isn't a very large place is it? It seems like their is an abundance of foundations and business going on there.

The odd thing is there was already a New Life Orphanage in Haiti

So, question...did Silby et al use the name of an existing charity that was well-known and set themselves up a "sound alike" to lend them props in getting the kids out?
