Starting research on James Alefantis’s co-founder of Comet Pizza, Carole Greenwood. Led me down a path of more strange / suspicious “art”, a new property to inspect and also list of names associated with Alefantis.
This requires more digging, many possibilities links/people that need to be researched.
From Wikipedia:
“Comet Ping Pong (often abbreviated as Comet) is a pizzeria restaurant and concert venue located in Chevy Chase, Washington, D.C., on Connecticut Avenue. It was founded in 2006 by James Alefantis and Carole Greenwood, with Alefantis eventually becoming the sole owner.”
Carole doesn't have the best reputation (outside of being a great chef)
Article (essentially bashing greenwood after leaving Bucks and Comet)

There is a well known chef here in DC named Carol Greenwood who is notorious for abusing customers who question anything that is placed in front of them.
She is now on, I believe, her third restaurant. Somehow her talents in the kitchen, which apparently are quite good but far from the best in DC, enable her to keep getting money to open new joints despite the large amounts of negative publicity she attracts.

I'm sure there's more out there.. not that this is damning evidence.. but she seems connected as well as a hot head / ego maniac based on what I've read so far…

Jayme McLellan co- founded Transformer then was faculty at George Washington. She apparently lost her job there as retaliation for filing a suit trying to stop art work at a Corcoran foundation from going over to the National Gallery, she was teaching at the Corcoran school division of George Washington. The transaction that absorbed the art, which she tried to stop is described in this National Gallery annual report: http://www.nga.gov/content/dam/ngaweb/About/pdf/annual-reports/annual-report-2014.pdf

Corcoran I think would be Barbara Corcoran who has been on Mark Cuban's Shark Tank show, a leading real estate person in New York City. Think she would be related to name on University division, but not sure.
