Can someone please explain what a pop-up is? I understand maybe like a pop-up shop, but why would they want to be doing a pop-up in this room??
I saw pop-up elsewhere as well, I think from Roberta's pizza..

I believe that one is actually an honest joke. It's from Instagram user @Room11DC, which is connected to this restaurant:
"ROOM 11 is a neighborhood restaurant, bakery, coffee shop"
You know, "have pop-up restaurant in this shitty basement with a hole in it" kind of irony.
