Seeing how non-profits are sometimes used for devious means, here's a link to some lists that might be helpful to link someone to a NP.

The files are quite small but list hundreds of thousands of non-profits which you can also search by "person in care of" said organization instead of needing the organization name to find out who is in charge of it.

For the first link, click on "Download the entire database of -ePostcard filings" above "Search" This is a text file, so the best way to view it is with excel. Open up excel, click on the "Data" tab. Select "From Text" then select the downloaded file. Choose "Delimited" and hit next. Check only "Other" and use "|" in the box (Shift+the button above your enter sign). Click Finish, select A1. It might take a bit because there's a lot.

The second link, just pick a region and download the CSV. That opens up pretty easily in excel without having to tweak it.
