I really don't think the established elite need a test "to see who is willing to run a story claiming it as real." Pretty weak evidence for that claim IMO. They already know which outlets they control and which they don't, they don't need to run silly tests that put their whole operation at risk just to figure out a tidbit they already know the answer to.
