The Reno Justice Department asked the Supreme Court to reinterpret the federal child pornography statute in a way that will result in legalizing a substantial amount of child pornography, encouraging further criminal child exploitation.
After skimming over the badly written article, I'd say all they did was limiting the definition of cp to what actually contains visible sex acts. Which helps protect not cp producers, but parents with children making harmless holiday movies, and such. Though some 'artists' will obviously exploit according loopholes, too. As long as children don't get harmed, I don't mind a way to identify perverts, so they can be kept out of jobs involving children...
