I've heard about her supposed molestation before, but didn't care enough to look into it. ....So, is that it? Is this what everyone was getting all hysterical about? :sigh: goddamnit, christians...
Besides this not being relevant to the sub, it's not even real sexual abuse. She was curious and went exploring, big deal. Now, I'm just going by what the article says. If her book goes into more detail and gives more examples, then fine. Feel free to correct me.

i would be with ya- except yeah, from what I remember with this story- She's bribe her lil sis with candies to exchange romantic kisses and stuff about get her to lay on her in bed... while they continued to age... so, normalization agenda

Still not seeing the issue. Did the mom ever catch them, and what did she say? Kids are gonna fight and touch each other, that's just what they do. Unless her parents pushed them to do it and joined in, then it's just negligence on her parents part. Lena was just a curious and pervy kid, nothing more.

due to nepotism and our lackluster world... Lena was given a platform HBO to hawk a book to the masses wherein she normalizes her odd paedo behavior. Kids are curious- Lots of kids accidentally or on purpose do pervy things... thats true. Lena does not fit into that- she IS abnormal, she's abnormal in specifically paying her LITTLE sis for sexual attention and kisses with candy and abnormal for bragging about it internationally.

Paying/trading is not abnormal for kids, either. Also, not staying within their age range. Many kids have crushes on their teachers, for example. The only abnormal thing about all this is that she was sexual at all at such a young age. I don't know what set her on that path, could've been TV, could've been molested herself, whatever. It happened. It was up to her parents to teach her to stop diddling (or whatever you mean by "sexual attention") her sister. And according to the article, her mom was really liberal about sexuality, so yeah, probably why it wasn't stopped.

As for this "normalizing" business. I might be on your side on this one, but I'm not entirely sure the end goal is to make pedophilia/raping kids okay. It could just be about un-demonizing them so they can be dealt with in a humane manner. Remember, pedos aren't inherently rapists. Maybe the thinking is that pedos would come forward and seek help if it was safe to do so.
