As pissed as they are, guilty or not, who could blame them for being assholes to the guys. I'm assuming since he was being recorded he went extra nice for the camera. He knew there was nothing to see in the pizza place so why not bring out some coffee and give them a tour?
But a lesson can be learned here (and I've seen it on TMZ more than a few times): have a dialog in front of the cameras and you come off as likeable, regardless of how much of a piece of shit you may be. Be a dick to the guy with the camera and you will be villified, nice guy or not.
I'm still waiting for an answer on his name and if he was born with it or chose it. If he chose it, I think the answer is pretty clear.
Out of all the evidence, his name is the big kicker for you? It's already been shown that his family members on FB have the same last name. It's pretty weak evidence and makes us look weak.
The "BIG EVIDENCE", no. The rest of the evidence is pretty clear but if someone made a conscious choice to get his name legally changed to "I love children" it's a pretty OBVIOUS piece of evidence that even a disbeliever would understand.
Yes, "j'aime les enfants" means "I love children" in French. No, "j'aime les enfants" is not pronounced "James Alefantis".
/ʒɛm lezɑ̃fɑ̃/ is the default French pronounciation of the phrase in question. "James Alefantis" is pronounced /d͡ʒeɪmz ælə'fæntɪs/. Not even remotely similar.
You're right! It's not even close. At all. In the slightest. And the instagram picture of the 3 gay guys, one of which wearing a shirt that literally says "j'aime les enfants" is nothing to worry about.
You're right, CLEARLY it was another one of those strange coincidences and why it was posted on their instagram. The two shirtless guys, mere random people on the street. You win.
Sarcasm is an impotent tool. I am convinced that the people whom we are investigating are paedophiles, but this particular piece of evidence is not strong, and usually coupled with manifestly false assertions ("James Alefantis means 'I love children' in French!!").
You're attacking strawmen. Of course the circumstantial evidence is damning, we all agree on that.

Come on guys, "Alefantis" does NOT mean "I love children" in any language. Can you PLEASE stop repeating this nonsense?
HarveyKlinger ago
As it's spelled, no. As it's said phonetically in French, yes. Here's how "I love children" is written in French, "J'aime les enfants"

First of all, the shirt says "j'aime l'enfant", and they're standing outside of the prestiguous cafe L'Enfant in DC.
Furthermore, ask a French person to pronounce it for you. It doesn't sound like "James Alefantis" at all.
