I am starting to suspect that the number of "pepperoni" slices is part of the code and the specific appearance of the pepperoni slices are to look like actual Domino's!! Look at actual Domino tiles with the round dots as numbers. That is what the slices represent.

In this case the logo shows the domino "game" of 2 on 1.

Ping-ponging has a special sexual meaning 2 on 1 in the Urban Dictionary. Google it.
