I just noticed that the last girl listed in the email to be in the heated pool, named "Maeve Luzzatto" (age 7?) shares the same last name with the sender of the email. Can anyone explain this to me? Would she use her own daughter as entertainment?

Probably. She would just see it as "sharing".
