So I saw a story about Ashton Kutcher's CP busting non-profit, [THORN](https://www.wearethorn.org) and thought, what the hell...I wonder if anyone's reached out to them about pizzagate? After a good while of editing to craft a better than average letter than I usually produce, this is what I sent out:

>As I am sure you are aware, two of the hugest leads in child pornography and pedophelia/trafficking in the history of the United States broke open in the last two months.  >Twittergate is huge, but straightforward: over 25,000 accounts uncovered sharing/following CP on the twitter platform. >Pizzagate is far more sinister, involving Washington DC's rich and powerful connected to a pizza joint acting as a hub for possible CP, trafficking, and pedophelia.

>These investigations are being suppressed by the media because big names and big money may be involved. In fact the NYT just put out a fluff piece refuting pizzagate, which addressed absolutely zero pieces of evidence in the case. >Snopes recently claimed pizzagate false. Again, based on no examination of evidence.  

>Pizzagate has been an evolving community research investigation on Reddit. The dedicated forum r/pizzagate was suddenly shut down yesterday, and any subsequent postings regarding the subject are being heavily censored. >This was where the crowdsourced investigation had gelled and made amazing strides uncovering evidence and connections. Fortunately the community was very good at backing up data and preserving the threads from the original group.    >That community has migrated to www.voat.co under the v/pizzagate sub. If THORN could take some time to look into the evidence presented there and add their expertise or research skill it would certainly help the cause. 

>If nothing else though, the citizen researchers digging into these networks desperately need the power of known voices and organizations to force the media to acknowledge these scandals. 

>If you feel that pizzagate is a legitimate line of investigation, any mention made publicly would lend desperately needed authenticity to it.  >Hopefully with enough exposure and evidence a proper law enforcement case will be opened on this scandal.

>I'm no one. I don't have the time or skill to do research. Honestly I have simply followed the investigation and wished I could help. But then I realized what I can do, and that is to write letters like this one. I can ask for professional allies to take a look at the evidence and help with what appears to be a huge scandal that involves many, many children that need saving.

I know there's not many nonprofits out there doing this kind of work combatting child porn and pedo stuff, but if a ton of us reach out to all of them *in our own words* we might win over some allies with resources and a platform to get the story out to the public.
