I know. Reddit fucking shut down a sub for speaking out about pedophiles.
Can you just believe it? What, are the Reddit admins pedophiles? They have all kinds of awful shit. Lots of it is still active, some has only RECENTLY been taken down. Suddenly, here comes a sub AGAINST pedophiles and they act like we're the bad guys?
Almost makes you wonder if Reddit was ordered to take the sub down. That happened very quickly with very little warning. I'm grateful there was a heads up at all, so we can reconvene over here.
Why did the sub go down, does anyone at all know what hit the nerve? Was there an imminent leak they had to prevent?
Was there a particular trail that was going somewhere significant? Spike, Petersen, Foundation
.... This pizzagate scandal has been going on for weeks - what made the hammer fall? Twittergate??
The official reason was because "personal information" was being posted, so people were being doxxed. But that doesn't explain why every other sub that mentions real humans just gets a slap on the wrist and not a total ban.
This is not a coincidence that it happened right after the "Fake News" pushback from the legacy media. The NYT takes it upon themselves to write an emergency article dismissing an investigation going on in a random obscure subreddit? I don't think so. Then after that weirdness, like twenty other articles were spawned all quoting that one, "disproving" pizzagate. Wtf? And then the sub was banned. These are not coincidences. I don't know whether Reddit is contributing to a coverup of whatever pizzagate was getting too close to, or whether they were asked/forced to ban us. Either way, Streisand effect, and it means we're onto something big.
There was barely any heads up. We need an outreach campaign to find redditors who haven't found this place yet. PM your friends, look in your post history/mailbox and PM anyone you can find who was posting on /r/pizzagate!!
For sure. We all need to be doing that. Although I have some concerns whether the Voat servers can handle so much influx, but hopefully people will be patient.
