True indeed. That is what Techland, the developers of Dying Light 1, did several months before the release. They straight up cancelled the PS3/360 versions and released Dying Light solely on PS4/XONE/PC...

If they were smart they wouldn't have hired "diverse" people, and the game would have run flawlessly on PS4 at launch.
