Why wouldn't she have been? Christianity is Middle Eastern jewish religion. Jesus was a jew and his Apostles were jews. Jews didn't steal paganism. When Christianity was adopted by the Roman Empire, pagan elements were brought in to make it more palatable to Europeans. The result was Roman Catholicism. Catholicism is heavy on paganism, while other denominations stripped much, but not all, of European paganism out of it, hence why many of them hate Catholicism and Protestants and Catholics were often, and to a much lesser extent still are, at each other's throats. Christmas? Pagan. Easter? Pagan. The list goes on. Hell, Catholicism is structured the same way as the pagan Roman Empire was. The Pope is the Emperor, Senators are Cardinals, Governors are the Archbishops, etc.
