This is one way a jurisdiction finds to skirt the menacing mob, stirred to disturbing the peace by the usual suspects such as Rev S & Rev J, who are nothing more than race-baiting extortionists. (Actually Rev S is more because he's mobbed up as well as an FBI Informant and tax cheat.) Anyway, what happens is, they just kick the can down the road because they know the law is on the defendant's side, and they will be responsibly defended in court, beating the conviction down to a more rational self-defense or manslaughter. And the false arrest is justified by the law on citizens' arrest. So everybody has reason to be satisfied. Though we see dissatisfaction still rattles around, as with Trayvon, all these years later, so it will be with Trayvon II here.
