Probably broke down the door to serve the warrant with a whole swat team. He jumped outta bed with his firearm not knowing what's going on. Came out his bedroom and because he was armed he was shot..the plan to save the world from violaters of ideology.

His only mistake was probably rushing to the door the was being kicked in.

Yep. You need to stand way back from the door. That why you don't get hit by the spalling as you fire blacktips through the door.

This is one of the reasons I keep recommending that people fortify their homes if they can (with internal lockpoints). Here it would give you time to evaluate the situation and discover it's the police who have entered, not random thugs, if the bedrooms were protected by a solid, bolted hallway door with a peephole or two.

Claymores and a motion detector probably a better option in this case. lol

Honestly, have you ever had issues with the law? I haven’t. Just because someone has a gun doesn’t mean they are not a piece of shit. Judge each by his character.

I just read the guardian, nope, wrong person shot. Should have gone after the ADL.

Yes, isn't that the bitch of this circular reasoning? You're protected in your ability to protect yourself within your home. Not only this, but common sense simply says that if someone comes into your home by night, any human being is going to stir to protect themselves. But if the authorities think, without settlement by trial, that you have committed a crime, then they are allowed to kill you for simply doing what anybody would do, and which they are constitutionally protected in their ability to do.

These fucking no-knock warrants and odd-hour raids are just begging for this sort of thing to happen. Obviously, the point of these sorts of murders is simply to scare people from engaging in self-protection. Sure, you've got the right, but now you might get killed for it, and we'll be sanctioned by the government to do it. So, whaddaya wanna do?

It's just implicitly bullying people psychologically away from being self-protective. Making you scared to own your own weapons or defend your home by proxy.

That's the only point, they could raid his house during the day when he's not there and arrest him at work, no they want to make examples.
