Because of contamination? How long does a virus survive on a container? How long does it take for a ship to go from China to Australia? This panic makes people more sick than a virus could ever do.

If people refuse chinese imports, how is that bad?

If people refuse to buy, no problem. But dock workers scared to death because of the origin of the ship? How can that be a good sign if people panic and loose their minds?

Its not really that crazy. Stuff could be contaminated for weeks. Crews can be contaminated too.

That is part of the scare campaign. They can detect the virus on surfaces under ideal conditions (dry, cold, no sunlight) up to 3 days later, but they haven't told us how long it takes until the virus does not function anymore. Crew is another story, but you can unload containers without meeting them.

Viruses have a way of coming back to life unless you destroy their protein coating.

Color me scared. I dont want this thing right now . We dont know how well the new drug cocktail is working, if we’ll even be given it, what kind of warehouse conditions we will be cared for in hospitals. 50,000 people dead in a month, this is nuts. My lungs are shit from chronic allergy, and I have an autoimmune condition. Not rolling the dice.
