They signed a release waiving all their rights and saying the content can be used however the person recording it sees fit. I've done contracting with actors in a different format but the release is all the same. They just didn't take the time to read and understand it.

Same. The contracts I've used with models (for consumer mags) basically says: 'We own everything. We can do what we want. Fuck off.' No one reads them.
You would think if you were making money by sucking on something, you might want to take 5 minutes to read the contract, but I would bet any amount of money not one of these girls did.

Uhhhh yes because people are literate in this country. They didn't take the time to read it and ask questions. It will say stuff too about not being liable if they lose their job or get in any difficulty over the work. They either read it and were fine with it or signed it without caring and skimmed over it. They saw $$$ a big pay day and that was it. Were they lied to about it going to a private collection in another country? Yeah but even if that was the truth, shit will get leaked and shared regardless and anyone using the internet in the current year knows how this works.

I do think in the porn industry, many girls get in over their heads once they start getting real deep (no pun intended) into the game and into the drugs. But I will never go for the idea that these women thought anything about offers for porn were just some "innocent modeling" gig. People know when they are being hired to get naked for money. Interesting part of the case. One allegation is that they prevented one of the girls from leaving. Except they apparently have cameras rolling from the moment they pick the girls up. The judge refused video evidence, which would prove they were innocent of that.
Beyond that there are a bunch of really fucked up details about this. Basically women aren't responsible for their actions, and on top of that the men around them are.
