That was the main reason I found it and read the whole thing. It doesn't sound like a 'crazy' person to me. What I don't understand is Voat always has comments proclaiming 'the media hates whites, etc.' Yet here we have a perfectly white caucasian person they could use in the narrative, yet they don't. Why?

oioiiooi ago

I had the manifesto on my Android phone. It was magically deleted.

Soyboy69 ago

should have kept it on something not connected to the internet. of course your corporate mandated tracking device won't let you have control of what you store on it and will delete things and rat you out to the government.

And once the manifesto has been scrubbed from the internet (fat luck doing that btw), the govts and media will be free to make all sorts of claims about the contents.

HeavyBrain ago

Wait, they are not doing that already?

I mean like your average kiwi who listens to NZ MSM would have the balls to have either on their HDD's.

Such actions make me feel like what he said had legitimacy then.

If they were ramblings of a madman, most people would realize it, it would be nothing to fear.

Truth is something tyrants fear most... I wonder if that’s why they fear this...

Truth is something tyrants fear most

Thats why after a long process of trying to fuck with the copyright law, Bavaria had to release Mein Kampf from its monopoly, but they still managed that the "ok to read copy" came with "corrected background infromation inthe foot note."

Same shit they try here, they are just pissed that the unwashed masses not as dumb/ they are not as smart as they want to be.

It is only 18,000 words. Hemingway's Old Man and Sea (a short one) is only 27,000 words. The Novel War & Peace has 580,000 words. So it is "so tiny" that it could be broadcast in MORSE CODE 24 hours a day on variable Short Wave 20 40 80 meters and beyond. It is "so tiny" it could be embedded on millions of pictures (via s$teganography) and posted on NZ websites. If the manifesto was widely available, condemned and it's points refuted, there would be no issue. It's pretty sad to see NZ take this step that's been tried so many times in the past. History has shown that rulers of nations that try to control the knowledge accessible to their citizens are almost universally viewed as poor, incompetent leaders.

HeavyBrain ago

Well looks like they can't refute the "confused menatl Nazi" then. This is what happens if you focuse too much only on one side, in this case making lefty shit belivable.

They want the copies banded because the author was supposed to be a white supremacist but never once named the jew. Jews fucked up writing it. As usual thinking they are smarter than they really are.

Mittermeyer ago

He did name the jew, he referred to them as semites.

matthew-- ago

He said they should stay in their own country, Israel.

Cat-hax ago

He was paid to say "the Holocaust was a lie and Hitler was right" but he just said that they should stay home.

Thisismyvoatusername ago

I disagree with hiding the video, but I can understand their argument. This, though, I can’t even do that. Under what theory of citizenship and the relationship between the government and the governed do they conclude this is within their proper purview?

biscuitrage ago

I saw a link somewhere, where you can actually purchase the manifest from the NZ government for around $100

Cat-hax ago

One simple thing ,it will get people moving if enough of them read it.

wt1984yb ago

You understand their argument...?

Thisismyvoatusername ago

Yeah, I can make sense of it. I just disagree with it.

They basically think any worth to it is outweighed by the affront to human dignity allowing it to be showed offers to victims and their survivors. They couch it in SJW speak but it is based on fairly traditional ideas of showing respect to the dead and the families of the dead. It is paternalistic for them to ban it, for sure, but viewing it doesn’t further anyone’s knowledge of the event in any appreciable way. (Though banning anything such as it does allow for falsification of the historical record whether because it actually didn’t happen or because it happened differently than the official report. So not banning it would clearly be the better approach in a free country.)

The manifesto is completely different, though. For one it is more than just a visual record of the event with very little expressive of intellectual content. Just the opposite. It is pretty much entirely an explanatory document to explain the event. It doesn’t really specifically do anything to degrade the memories of those individuals he shot up. Getting rid of access to it really is anti-intellectual which makes no sense in what it supposed to be a liberal (small l), Western, Anglo, representative Constitutional monarchy. For such systems to operate, the citizenry needs to be informed. Preventing them from access to one side of an argument is a fundamental affront to their civil rights.

Monsterdewo ago

Here's the thing, too: You can buy the manifesto in NZ - From the government! It costs $110 or so for a "waiver" that allows you to possess it.

So this is like, creating a list of people that want information, and monetizing them to do so. Insane.

lacrimamosa ago

You can buy the manifesto

No, you really can't. You can fill out a form requesting the manifesto, and that will cost you $110. But the government will deny your quest, take your money, and put you on a list of people who requested it.

In case you didn't know, prior to the attack, NZ citizen had to fill out a form requesting permission to own a firearm. You had to give a reason why you should be allowed to own it. "Self defense" was specifically excluded as a valid reason. In other words, when you want to own a weapon, the government asks "why" - if you say, "for self defense" that's not a valid reason and they deny your request.

...now they have a form where you can request access to the manifesto. If you actually believe they're going to grant your request, you're a fucking retard.

HeavyBrain ago

But the government will deny your request, take your money, and put you on a list of people who requested it.

Ahm, duh..?!

They see there is demand, they see the sheeps getting restless, gota be prepared.

Valensiakol ago

If you actually believe they're going to grant your request, you're a fucking retard.

I mean, if you submit a request and $110 for the manifesto when you can easily get it online for free, you're a fucking retard even if they did give it to you.

Thisismyvoatusername ago

Even if they keep no record of you and don’t put your name on a list you’re a retard if you pay for something that is free.

Valensiakol ago

Yes, that was my point.

kurtpackage ago

Lol. What's the talk like around NZ? this sounds soo fucking stupid.

elitch2 ago

I think you're thinking of australia. NZ has online gun stores.

Chimaira92 ago

Australia has online gun stores.

https://www.gunworld.com.au/on-sale/

elitch2 ago

Well, then.

I was under the impression NZ had decent gun laws. I know they used to.

Looks like they were marginally better than oz.

So, the USA/Canada are the only countries left where you can own a firearm legally as a citizen?

Fuck.

lacrimamosa ago

I was under the impression NZ had decent gun laws. I know they used to.

Apparently not. In order to buy a gun you had to explain to the government why you wanted it, and if you said "self defense" they would deny your request. The government specifically said that self defense is not a valid reason.

Soyboy69 ago

...Is "opposing tyranical government's who take away too many of the citizens rights" also not a valid reason?

Chimaira92 ago

I own firearms under the guise of sport shooting but yeah, I imagine places like Poland and Hungary have similar gun laws though.

elitch2 ago

I was only counting modern, developed countries. I have no idea of Eastern Europe.

I have quite a few rifles, pistols, bows, and a musket or two.

The government knows I have a firearms license, but they have no clue how many weapons/ammo I own.

I wiped my ass with a page of the Quran earlier. Uncomfortable yet so satisfying

GreyGears ago

And even more in the Torah/Talmud.

Seriously, the Quran is a children book compared to what the Talmud say.

ChaoticNeutral ago

Yeah, I just typed it out quickly. Every holy book basically says ‘kill the other guys, make babies’

Chimaira92 ago

Including the good ole bible. Old Testament Moses commands his people to rape and murder children.

meow_cow ago

Those aren't instructions for Christians.

Chimaira92 ago

True but Christians are commanded to follow the instructions of that warlord pedophile.

Matthew 23

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses. So practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach.

meow_cow ago

We don't have to obey the old testament, the book of Roman's covers that. We are under Christ's law. Not Moses'.

knightwarrior41 ago

No one - least of all "government" has any authority to tell you what to do.

i know what are you saying but you are wrong on this.they have all the power to make you whatever it wants and moreso where there's no constitution with a bill of rights attached to it to protect the citizenry from them but yes they have guns thus they have the power

Far2Long2 ago

Power, yes - authority, no.

6h057 ago

If they have a monopoly on power, don't they have de facto Authority?

Cat-hax ago

What's the difference at that point? If I refuse to pay taxes I loose everything and go to jail,if I refuse to renew my driver's license since clearly it's no longer needed (they allow invaders to drive with out one) I might go to jail and I will get a loose everything fine,in my state if I aquire a gun with out the states permission first I loose everything and go to jail. Even some faggot is allowed to sue me over fake injurys in a car accident, they listen to him because he has the money which = power/authority when clearly he's fucking faking it just to Jew me out of money, this faggot waits 2 years to sue me and no one questions it.

Far2Long2 ago

I agree, and I've yet to test this in Court. I'd probably be jailed for contempt (I'm in the UK).

I can't take on the system all by myself. But if ten million of us did, we'd overthrow the system.

6h057 ago

If 10 million people did anything, it'd have an effect. The issue is getting them to do it.

Hell, I remember reading that only 3% of the original American colonists actually participated in the Revolutionary War. That means 97% DIDN'T. Really gives you something to think about, doesn't it?

wt1984yb ago

Violence is the Supreme authority from which all other authority is derived. - Heinlein

lexsird ago

Authority belongs to those who win, those who take power for themselves. It wouldn't take half an afternoon to kill every crooked traitor politician in the entire country. It's a tiny country. lol. I've been there.

No guns? No problem! Get the glass jars, bottles and jugs and get the gasoline, rags and lighters. Burn shit to the ground. Burn Mosques, traitor politician houses, cop stations that enforce the treason. Keep burning until they are all gone. If it's your home, you'll stay and rebuild, the invaders and traitors will be burned out.

6h057 ago

If you ain't got a weapon then go pick up a rock.

knightwarrior41 ago

Power, yes - authority, no.

does NZ have a constitution and bill of rights that protects their citizens? if not, then they can do whatever they want with them and this case is ample example of this.

Far2Long2 ago

Magna Carta applies. Article 61. There are many links that will explain this vital safeguard, but I'll let you look it up and glean your own understanding.

knightwarrior41 ago

Article 61

But since we have granted all these things aforesaid, for GOD, and for the amendment of our kingdom, and for the better extinguishing the discord which has arisen between us and our Barons, we being desirous that these things should possess entire and unshaken stability for ever[1], give and grant to them the security underwritten[2];

namely, that the Barons may elect twenty-five Barons of the kingdom[3], whom they please, who shall with their whole power, observe, keep, and cause to be observed, the peace and liberties which we have granted to them[4], and have confirmed by this our present charter, in this manner:

that is to say, if we, or our Justiciary, or our bailiffs, or any of our officers, shall have injured any one in any thing, or shall have violated any article of the peace or security[5], and the injury shall have been shown to four of the aforesaid twenty-five Barons, the said four Barons shall come to us, or to our Justiciary if we be out of the kingdom, and making known to us the excess committed, petition that we cause that excess to be redressed without delay[6].

And if we shall not have redressed the excess, or, if we have been out of the kingdom, our Justiciary shall not have redressed it within the term of forty days [7], computing from the time when it shall have been made known to us, or to our Justiciary if we have been out of the kingdom, the aforesaid four Barons, shall lay that cause before the residue of the twenty-five Barons;

and they, the twenty-five Barons, with the community of the whole land[8], shall distress and harass us by all the ways in which they are able[9]; that is to say, by the taking of our castles, lands, and possessions[10], and by any other means in their power[11], until the excess shall have been redressed[12], according to their verdict; saving harmless our person, and the persons of our Queen and children; and when it hath been redressed[13], they shall behave to us as they have done before[14].

And whoever of our land pleaseth, may swear, that he will obey the commands of the aforesaid twenty-five Barons[15], in accomplishing all the things aforesaid, and that with them he will harass us to the utmost of his power[16]: and we publicly and freely give leave to every one to swear who is willing to swear; and we will never forbid any to swear[17].

But all those of our land, who, of themselves, and of their own accord, are unwilling to swear to the twenty-five Barons, to distress and harass us together with them, we will compel them by our command, to swear as aforesaid[18].

And if any one of the twenty-five Barons shall die, or remove out of the land, or in any other way shall be prevented from executing the things above said, they who remain of the twenty-five Barons shall elect another in his place[19], according to their own pleasure, who shall be sworn in the same manner as the rest.

In all those things which are appointed to be done by these twenty-five Barons, if it happen that all the twenty-five have been present, and have differed in their opinions about any thing, or if some of them who had been summoned, would not, or could not be present, that which the greater part of those who were present shall have provided and decreed, shall be held as firm and as valid, as if all the twenty-five had agreed in it: and the aforesaid twenty-five shall swear, that they will faithfully observe, and, with all their power, cause to be observed, all the things mentioned above[20].

And we will obtain nothing from any one, by ourselves, nor by another, by which any of these concessions and liberties may be revoked or diminished. And if any such thing shall have been obtained, let it be void and null: and we will never use it, neither by ourselves nor by another[

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/baron

BARON relates to lower nobility it has nothing to do with the people.at the time most people were just peasants not BARONS also the fact that they are doing this tells me that they dont give a shit about the british magna carta

btw,did you know that our constitution only applied to rich people and it was later when the bill of rights were added to it that it was a "common law" for everybody and even then ......the more you know.see our founders created a republic not a democracy and they believed that people of higher status should have been the ones who for a better word guide the constitutional process and politics of our nation....per plato's republic :)

later the whole thing was " democratized" which included other peoples rights to participate in our political process.why do you think that most of our presidents are remotely related to European nobility and such ?

knightwarrior41 ago

Article 61 was invoked in 2001:

the question is,did the queen listened and what was her response if anything?

Far2Long2 ago

She ignored it, which therefore means we are in Lawful Rebellion.

In theory we can hang her for treason (signing the Nice and Lisbon Treaties effectively handing our country over to a foreign power ie the EU). In practice it means we can disregard all her Statutes.

Many people disagree with this interpretation but I am certain of it, and will obey only the Common Law.

It's analagous to the USA insisting that the Constitution is the law - not the Uniform Commercial Code, which is the millions of rules and regulations made by government.
