Most TV "journalists" in Canada work for the CBC, they take taxpayers money ($1.4 Billion per year) AND compete with the private sector for ad revenues. And their ratings are dismal.
The last Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, made a huge mistake by not defunding these "journalists" as soon as the Conservatives took office. They hated him and it showed, he had nothing to lose by strangling them in the bank account. But didn't.
Advertising about drug uses and abuse doesn't work. If it did we wouldn't be losing more boys than we ever lost to war.
They're stuck in a loop about expertise that kills more people every year and they keep applying their tired old expert bullshit and killing more people. They can't stop.
I would have posted more about it but one of the first things done on the subverse was to delete a comment for being off-topic, and that got the mods (and the few posts that were made before the DV brigading began) downvoted to shut up the mods. It has worked and is ongoing. Want to help? Go to both mods profiles/comments and upvote every single comment to counteract the hecklers veto being applied.

It's a shame, since that sub seems like something I'd support. In their defence, they have exactly one removed comment, and no bans, so the cancer may be treatable.

Begging for upvotes? That will backfire.

Upvote begging is a bad move though.
