Occam's Razor is ignored way to often here. Hogg loves CNN and wishes he could work for them, so when the news shows up, who do you think hes going to tell his story to and be on TV with?
Exactly. But to be fair, if you live in a basement with no social connections, finding out that among a "normies" social connection is an actor, or a FBI agent, or a government employee, it immediately get their conspiracy theories going. It seems so out of the ordinary to them for someone to know people who aren't marginal losers.
