Why would facebook admit this?

lolatwhiteys8 ago

FUCKING LOL at believing a fb infographic. Autists gonna autist.

aboutime ago

no, i guess that war with Russia is better with a known rapist back in the white house. besides, I hate hillarycare aka obamacare and this shit keynseian policy.

Supershorty ago

While this sounds very nice, the chicks cannot be counted until they hatch. I'll definitely be paying attention to the climax of this presidential race.

HST ago

If enough registered voters sign a petition then there is a public vote on a proposed statute or constitutional amendment.

FeelinFroggy ago

Pfft, they got Washington and Oregon voting red? My ass. Everything in those two states are split up so precisely that even if they voted overwhelmingly republican, they'd still throw blue tinted electoral votes at her. There's no way.

SarMegahhikkitha ago

The only time they've gone Republican (nationally) in 100 years has been for Nixon. But if you look at the 1972 election, it's extremely similar: the globalist-engineered civil unrest pissed people off and drove them towards the rule-of-law Republican candidate, which they used to keep us in Vietnam and then have Nixon take the fall for it.

0fsgivin ago

Yah know. Had Jim Webb stayed in the primary i was heavily looking at him as well.

But shit man. I knew THEN my party was rigging a primary against me. And ive always been a 2nd ammendment supporter. It wasnt a hard jump. Especially since obama controlled feds still raid pot dispensaries. And he passed a healthcare plan written by BigInsuramce.

Everything good to come out of the obama adminstration other than him raising federal employees minimum wage. Was done by fucking ballot initiatives. He didnt build that=). And in the case of pot he actively still works against it.

Then throw in the GOP fucking hates trump. They only let him in as a joke or to get his money...then he got to big for em and they are as terrified of him as the democrats! That is what really made me take a closer look. Fuck it..im not a YUGE fan. The guys far from perfect. But hes certainly got my vote this election.

Aboresh ago

Are you men? Because you sound like you're me. The only reason I've retained my Democratic affiliation is because I want to run for office one day, and the area I'm in is so blue it's almost black.

BoiseNTheHood ago

Exactly. The Internet is somewhat of an echo chamber. The actual electorate is not only made up of the type of people who care enough to broadcast their love of a candidate all over the Internet.

Biscuitbaiter ago

A lot of people will vote on Facebook and bitch to their friends about who they will be voting against. Most of those people however will also not actually get their asses out and vote.

TheRealAmalek ago

Problem about Ron he was too intellectual, 5 min in and people and thinking why is this man still talking.

RoryBellowsLives ago

Well, yeah, both McCain and Romney were better than him intellectually as well.

Obama is a good orator and was able to rally the black and the "historic" vote. Which I found ironic considering how different his upbringing and experience as a "black American" was than virtually all black Americans....shit, I bet a lot of people who voted for him had no idea he was half white.

Black_Phillip ago

Hey there's my state! The People's Republic of Illinois

Mouse-Ball-Z ago

Yes... the voice of the people... pathetic. Next thing you know theyll want rights, or to improve their condition.

slevin_kelevra ago

WTF... Facebook? Come on man

FishBoneFredd ago

This, and the size of Trump's rallies, brings up the age-old battle of whether the POTUS should be elected based on the electoral college process or a popular vote.

I'm not here to argue either, only point out that the article supports the popularity of Trump, but that's not how the system works.

GIF-lLL-S0NG ago

No, the 17th amendment shows that direct election makes it easier for the oligopoly to maintain control.

RebelWithCauses ago

Facebook loves Hillary. Since degrading Trump didn't work, now they try a different tactic. Make supporters believe their votes aren't needed. Every one of you is needed to help Trump. Without you, he doesn't have a chance. Get out and vote!

aria_taint ago

Propaganda by the Dems to tell Trump voters to stay home. This is all fucking mind games. TRUMP 2016!!!

aboutime ago

His campaign was systematically surpressed by the media and then his party changed the rules to exclude him. He probably could have won.

BoiseNTheHood ago

I was a Ron Paul supporter in 2008 and 2012. While the media didn't give Ron a fair shake, you're giving his campaigns too much of a free pass. Ron was brilliant, but he surrounded himself with losers.

One of the reasons why Trump actually succeeded in defeating the Republican establishment in 2016 is because of the people he hired to help run his campaign. Kellyanne Conway, Katrina Pierson, Stephen Miller, Jason Miller - smart people with experience in the Beltway. He's also been smart enough to cut bait with staffers when they start to hurt the campaign (i.e. Corey Lewandowski, Paul Manafort).

In contrast, Ron saddled his campaign with idiots like Jesse Benton, who were like amateur hour compared to other candidates' staffs. Benton in particular seemingly did everything in his power to undermine the campaign. He used to make the rounds on cable news and feed into the narrative that Paul supporters are nutjobs. He'd tell people to stop fighting to win delegates at caucuses and give up. I'd say Trump would have fired Benton long before the primaries, but he would have never hired Benton to begin with.

buttermouth ago

If this election has taught me anything, it's how much of an absolute stud Ron Paul was/is. He took on the entire political and media establishment and refused to endorse Romney in the end. I knew the odds where stacked against him, but I didn't actually believe the entire establishment was conspiring against him. He must have balls of steel.

I_like_paint ago

It wasn't his first rodeo. The man has been fighting the establishment for a loog time.

RedditisPropaganda31 ago

Voter fraud and election fraud. Rigging.

RoryBellowsLives ago

He MAY have been able to win the nomination, he certainly wasn't going to win the presidency...especially against Obama.

AmaleksHairyAss ago

Downvote is not for disagreement you eternal faggots. If you disagree state the reason.

CowWithBeef ago

DoomBernanke.gif would rule the internet

AlwaysInService ago

We'll be lucky if Florida and Pennsylvania will turn red (which will effectively secure the election anyway). Don't count on a landslide

0fsgivin ago

Hes going to win florida..ohio is the problem.

Rummel ago

Ohio is going red. I'm a resident here and can tell you the Trump sign to Shillary sign ratio is of BTFO proportions.

Trump wins rust belt, Trump wins the white house.

AlphaWookie ago

Ohio is not a problem in the least.

OneinchCuntpuncher ago

Of course Ohio's not a problem... you don't live there. You dirty ass white nigger.

AlwaysInService ago

If he can win Pennsylvania, he can win the election. If he cannot win Pennsylvania, we're looking at a very close election

heili ago

Philadelphia and Scranton are going to be his toughest.

SarMegahhikkitha ago

Bush lost Pennsylvania in 2000 and 2004. Who cares about Pennsylvania. He has all the Reagan Democrats and Evangelicals and nobody is motivated to stand in line for hours to vote for a criminal (which is why they're so loud and obnoxious about getting other people to vote). It was over before it started.

AlwaysInService ago

I will politely disagree. New York is a blue state, California is a blue state. Neither of them will vote Trump but both of them have a huge amount of electoral votes. Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas are next in line. Texas is a red state, so that's ok. Florida will vote Trump, so that's ok. If he carries Pennsylvania, he's ok, if not, he has a problem. He can have "Reagan Democrats and Evangelicals," but what he needs is electoral votes, and without winning states with large number of those votes available, the election is lost. Don't underestimate Democrats and Clinton supporters

NoRealNames ago

Why would you ever believe anything that has to do with Facebook? Seriously. I can't even believe sane people still use that garbage.

TheDude2 ago

I'll take it up the ass from a porn star if this actually happens. It is probably just keying in off of the Clinton scandals.

Gadsden ago

Remember that most of the people who live in the cities [where the votes turn the whole state] aren't living on facebook, because they have a lot more to do IRL for entertainment, so the number of posts being made [one way or the other] isn't indicative of the number of people supporting each candidate.

Don't get me wrong, I wish it were true, but I've seen this kind of bullshit so many times.

Broc_Lia ago

I'm extremely sceptical that this will translate into reality.

common_sense ago

New York going red.... LOL.

Don't trust online activity at all...........

aboutime ago

He is from NY ---and NY had a republican governor and also NYC mayor quite often.

Ah_Pook ago

Many New Yorkers can't stand him. It's not a benefit in this case, especially since Hillary has more political experience with NY anyway.

heili ago

Yes, she got the Senate seat of a conveniently dead Kennedy.

Ah_Pook ago

You know why Trump's losing? Because he can't figure out why people are voting for Hillary.

You know why Voat thinks everything's rigged? Because they can't accept that people like Hillary.

If you guys could have figured that shit out, Trump would have had a shot. But you're too dumb to actually want to win. You just want to cry about losing all the time. I feel sorry for modern America. Conservatives are masochists + SJWs.

heili ago

Kennedy was a liberal too, so it's not like I'm saying that she stepped in over a conveniently dead Republican, nor is this a matter of just hating Democrats.

Hillary Clinton is a criminal and the only place she belongs is prison.

SpaceCpt ago

Mm.. I've only been around 28 years, but Oregon doesn't turn red during election season. The three counties that control our vote are VERY blue.

Devildetails ago

Do any of you actually believe this? 422?

nobslob ago

nope. I think the current system is corrupt to the core, and cannot be reformed from within. I'm betting heavily on the collapse of the dollar over the next few years, fingers crossed Shillery makes that dream come true.

senpaithatignoresyou ago

Honestly, if november 8th has really shit weather in the north east, then clinton supporters who did not vote early would probably say "people hate trump a lot, my vote won't matter that much, it is too damn cold and rainy/snow to go out and vote"

Meanwhile the trump people will rage vote trump to send a fuck you to the establishment. We have been looking forward for this for a while now.

heili ago

Don't care if I must walk through a frigid blizzard to get to my voting place. Will be there, will vote against Hillary.

pacman2000 ago

I don't, but I'm not gay for Trump, either.

superesper ago

Yes.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/10/27/signs-of-monster-voters-appear-in-minnesota-cd8-trump-beating-clinton-by-12-points/ :

Yesterday’s significant example was in Butler County Ohio where requests for republican ballots have increased by a whopping 40% over 2012. Today, another VERY significant indication surfaces -albeit quietly- Minnesota’s deep blue CD-8.

MINNESOTA – The eighth Congressional District of Minnesota is a working class area in Eastern Minnesota. It has voted for a Democrat in the last four Presidential elections. It has a Democrat Congressman and will likely be the most expensive Congressional race this year.

Usually, a Democrat Presidential candidate would win. But a recent poll held a shock:

Trump is beating Hillary by 12 points: “Our poll shows Republican Donald Trump with a 12-point lead over Clinton, 47 percent to 35 percent“

Trump is winning with women: “leading Clinton 41 percent to 39 percent.”

Dems are crossing over: “the number of Democrats dropped from 34 percent in 2014 to 27 percent in 2016. The number of independents jumped from 31 percent two years ago to 41 percent this year.“...

0fsgivin ago

Anecdotal but..i voted for Obama twice. Voted sanders in the primary.

I changed my registration to republican the day Obama endorsed hillary.

GoofyGrape ago

I voted for Obama twice and straight Democrat in 2004 and 2006. Prior to that I was a right-leaning pragmatist. MAGA!

NeedleStack ago

Almost the same for me; Obama twice, Sanders in Primary. But I switched from Dem to "No Party".

0fsgivin ago

If your not in a battleground state id say go Johnson. I would but im in florida I will not risk it.

Johnsons got 0 chance and hes the least favorite libertarian ive seen run. But hes got a chance of gettin over 5%.

If that happens we get a much needed 3rd party in the debates next election.

Or Stein i think shes close to..im not a huge fan of the Greens. But ill take as many alternatives to dem/rebup trap as i can.

Ah_Pook ago

Idiots do. And Voat does. But I repeat myself.

oddjob ago

Trump supporters are very active online. Meanwhile, Clinton has to pay people to be active for her and they are still well outnumbered.

However, a lot of people are still going to vote for Clinton. They just won't be happy about it. Most of those people can only the Donald that goes around yelling about Lying Ted and birth certificates and arresting Hillary and cannot fathom him being able to act in a civil and presidential manner.

AmaleksHairyAss ago

You a word.

GizaDog ago

More people are tired on the Clinton Cartel and voting for change in America. If its not done now...its over!

TheStapler ago

There are a lot of people who have supported Clinton even when Sanders was running. The gibsmedats demanders and SJWs are among them, and a lot of people who buy into myths like the gender wage gap. If degenerate women were not allowed to vote, almost the whole country would be red.

oddjob ago

Oh yea, but the map only shows in each state, which side has more activity in Facebook. I'm arguing that that Trump voters are just more active than Hillary voters, not that there are necessarily more trump voters in each of those states.
