If you don't care about plot or relatable characters, then maybe. The plot was full of holes, the narrator is conpletely unreliable because he's delusional, and the character development doesn't make sense. Somehow the borderline autistic character suddenly becomes a criminal mastermind? And everyone else in the entire movie is a raging asshole or is ready to riot and burn Gotham at the drop of a hat. None of it feels remotely realistic at all. I'm not sure what point the director was trying to make, but I didn't get it. Half of the movie was Joaquin Phoenix putting on makeup or dancing around by himself. No wonder those morons want to award it best picture.

it was ok-ish, I felt like it missed some grit, as so many new age movies. it was essentially a movie by a jew about a leftie turning insane, to start killing white people. deep level propaganda. but meh. media told everyone whites would like it as they made it look like lefties hated it...tricked by jews, again.

I just finished watching it.

I didn't see it in the theater, but because of all the praise I saw, especially from some reviewers I hold in a high regard, I figured I would buy it and add it to my Plex server, so even if I don't like it, one of my friends probably will. It arrived today and I watched. Holy shit, I figured it was good, but all the praise didn't do it justice.

This is definitely worth multiple watches.

Good movie but Ford vs Ferrari was better.

If you like movies about mental illness, I recommend "A Scanner Darkly." The way the main characters act is Phillip K. Dick's depiction of watching his friends go slowly out of their minds due to amphetamine psycosis.

Pretty solid Joker movie. Doesn't even mean that's the true Joker. Just a rise of "Clown World" civil unrest that spawned the Joker gangs.

Still plays into the gag of Joker having many origin stories.

Take all the comic book out of the movie and is a good movie. With the comic book depth, it's even better.
