A comedy about what can happen when you love your phone more than anything else in your life.

Michael Peña and Wanda Sykes both had me rolling. I think I could laugh so hard because I am so unlike the main character and I fucking hate cell phones.

I may watch it again sometime soon, I thought I would be sore this morning from laughing so much last night. I think the imdb score is where it is because hipster millennials got triggered so much. You won't see me wearing skinny jeans or walking around like a smartphone zombie...

I'm having trouble telling if she's supposed to be a clown or the voice of reason. These days that might be considered normal behaviour.

You'd have to see more of the movie. From my perspective she is the voice of reason.

There is another great scene, where he is fighting with his phone (or more accurately Jexi, the virtual assistant) and he throws the phone away. But since he uses his phone to navigate him everywhere with Jewgle Maps, he has no clue how to get home, so he has to get his phone back.

That whole movie is making fun of people who are dependent on their phones for almost everything, and they have virtually no real-life skills.

Reminds me a bit of the Siri episode of Boondocks.

There are a couple parts where he tries to turn the phone off and the red slider button jumps all over the screen and gets all zig-zaggy at times.
