I've been on reddit since 2014 and really liked the voting system, as I felt it was a perfect way to discuss on a large scale. However, since then, I've noticed more and more censorships - always the same ideas making it to the top; few downvoted comments because any controversial content would immediately be deleted and its author banned. Obnoxious censoring of even slightly controversial ideas on subreddits that were supposed to be neutral (ELI5, iAmA, AskReddit, worldnews, news...). The obscurity of the voting system was also a big turn-off.
Then I discovered voat. I really like the idea of an open-source, reddit-like platform with no censorship and clear voting. The community, however, really, really seems to despise my kind (Jews). I'm okay with them expressing their ideas, because that's the whole point of this site. But I would like to know if there is any point is investing myself into this community, or if I will always end up being ostracized for what I am.
I value free speech, I'm a Christian, and I'm Jewish. Can we still be friends?

Why would someone thats Christian even bother mentioning he has a 'Jewish' ethnicity? You're an arab, and theres plenty of arab Christians, run like hell from the label 'Jew'. Any actual Christian knows Judaism is satanic and to avoid it.
Would a satanist say: "Oh yeah I'm a satanist Christian. I come from a long line of satanist but I personally found Jesus Christ and reject Satan." No you wouldn't, because thats dumb.

Are you aware of the fact that Jesus was a Jew? Satanism has nothing to do with ethnicity.

He was of an Galilean ethnicity. And the Judaism he practiced was absolutely nothing like modern Judaism, which heavily reformed after christianity popped up.
But of course, you know that. I shouldn't be telling you that. Unless you are making everything up right now.

The only thing that is the same about his ethnicity and yours is the label 'Jew'. But as you know, modern Jews are khazars and replaced most of the ancient Jewish population. Its like saying modern Egyptians were the same as ancient Egyptians, even though they are mostly Arabs and have less than 1% of the same haplotype.
The ethnic Jew label is mostly meaningless anyway except in the most hardcore of communities due to centuries of breeding out.
My point wasn't that your ethnicity doesn't exist, it was, what's the point? Why do you associate with it? It relies on the same word as a religion that wishes to persecute you and hates our Lord. Why wouldn't you say 'ethnically Jewish' instead of 'Jewish' when talking about it?
Its either that you are trying to start shit by catching idiots that don't know what you are talking about, in which case, good job but shouldn't you be leading by example of what it means to be a Christian instead of irritating others with ambiguity?
But whatever, I don't care. Its a meaningless conversation, do what you want.
