For example, http://voat.co/v/mylittlepony+mlp would show all the posts on both /v/mylittlepony and /v/mlp, like on a certain other site.

I already have. The difference with combining the subverses in the URL itself is that anyone can alter which subverses are listed, and can do so on the fly.
