Let us not just make enough noise to be heard 'round the fire, but let us make enough noise to be heard for miles around - so that others may appreciate our gifts.

We kinda hammered on the server a bit. Thanks, @puttitout for keeping it running for us. It turns out we didn't need the sticky! We rocketed to the top and stayed there for hours.

Ah well, nobody appreciates a fucking thing until they lose it. You can see that with all the goddamned entitlement going on. Everything thinks they're entitled to Voat and that Putt is a jerk for shutting it down. Well, not everyone, but you get the idea.

It's good fortune that we already had a plan for this eventuality. We even have a number of ways to contact people to let them know how to find the new thread. So far, I think most everyone knows we're moving and where we're moving to. We might even pick up some new users on Poal. So, it's not a really horrible thing (for us), so much as it is a different thing for us.
It's just yet one more chapter in the long history of the Friday Night Guitar Thread.
(We're an optimistic bunch!)
