Are you ready to rock? Are you ready for a good time? Let's make some noise!!!

Today marks not an end to the FNGT, but marks a new chapter. There may be laughter and joy, or there may be tears and sorrow. For some, it could be both - and that's okay.

Let us huddle around the final embers that was the fire of Voat - but let us not go out silently. Let us leave this place with ruckus and merriment. Let us not just make enough noise to be heard 'round the fire, but let us make enough noise to be heard for miles around - so that others may appreciate our gifts.

Today it is the last guitar thread on Voat. If Voat goes down during the thread, look for us on Preview Voat

Like a Phoenix, we shall rise from the ashes and be enjoined anew on Poal.

Sad to see this place go. I’m currently still working on a new song (maybe ready for tomorrow on Poal), so I’ll have to share a couple older songs. I shared this last month but nobody was around except maybe COF and Crazy.

Oh, that's sweet. I know from the first two bars that I like it. That's some smooth fingers and the bass player has the timing going on.

I don't do this often, but this one might get downloaded. In all of the FNGT history, I've downloaded fewer than a dozen tracks from other people - and most of the tracks I've downloaded where about me in one way or another.

We did some BB King recently.

Nope Seattle is pretty cucked so gigs are still on hold until further notice unfortunately

My band was able to play all through the summer tourist season, so they've got their nest egg back up AND they're eligible for unemployment. That's a rarity! They all make their only income through their musicianship AND they got unemployment!

It's a good thing I set it up as a business and did all the proper paperwork. ;-)

That's why I still need to work with the band, I still have much to teach. So much to teach...

This year of nothing means I'm very likely to sign yet another contract with 'em. I'm looking at 2023 at the best.

I suck at retiring.
