Everyone knows Aged is a fucking faggot who would make goats overjoyed by killing himself, but there are pesky things called rules. He knows how to toe the line without crossing it. Voat and its community was built upon the exodus of undesirables and the idea of free expression, even for those we disagree with and hate. Downvoting is how the community moderates itself, because everyone knows power mods are fucking kikes. His ban was ex post facto Reddit bullshit, as many goats have explained this shit many times over. Before the stampede shills hijack the thread, realize that another ban by Putt would mean that there are unwritten rules subjectively enforced. It's not a box one should open. Instead, see if it's possible to get the subverse rules amended so low-effort content is restricted.
Still don't like "low effort content" being banned. Are memes banned? How about this post, it is low effort aged posting, does it deserve a ban?
It's what votes are for. And God willing, what blocking users will accomplish in the future. It means the community decides what is "low effort" and not some mod with an axe to grind, and upset that they got called cupcake.
This post already breaks rule 1. I already explained to that other faggot that Voat has always used downvotes to moderate itself, and offered an alternative if he and others couldn't handle it. The only rule I could ever see accepted would be a per-user daily limit or such on memes and fanart, and violating that would only have violating posts removed. Even something like that I'd find being overhanded, prone to power bottom mods. Blocking users (and their posts) would be ideal if it ever rolled out.
I am willing to give it a "gaming related" a bit of leeway to assume "or /v/gaming related". Because mods using offtopic [meta] discussions as a grounds to delete posts, and ban users pisses me off on the same level.
