It's only appeasement if I've acted inconsistently with how I've moderated the past two years.

I don't believe Kadynce acted within the community's rules by banning someone for their attitude, and the sentiment in other /v/gaming threads seems to be that ExpertShitposter is being an ass, but Kaynce overstepped by banning him.

Like Chiefpacman said, this is their last gasp. They have no audience if they have no outrage, so no sense in feeding the fire.

I appreciate the sentiment! I'll continue to do my best to respect the /v/gaming community and the rules they've set for their subverse. I can't promise Voat will always want me around, but I can promise to be consistent to the day I stop being a mod.
