I totally agree.

The controls were shit, the gameplay itself regularly devolved into long feature-length "cutscenes"... I much preferred the Splinter Cell series for my stealth shooter experience.

We should be due for another Splinter Cell game before long. We've gotten new Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games since Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I hope they go back to co-op like Splinter Cell: Conviction. Co-op stealth is my favorite flavor.
