Might they discover that their groups (collective congregations) become smaller and smaller with each revealed belief, until each person finds that they are on their own? Is the only reason they are ‘united’ because they don’t actually appreciate what those associates around them are really thinking? Conversely, in Venn diagram terms, what would the nature of the circle have to be which encapsulated Republican, Democrat, Israeli, Palestinian and all? Well, if humanity disappeared because it was too busy with its own infighting to deal with that which threatens it, any differences that are believed to exist would be rendered irrelevant anyway.
