It's shit like this that makes me reconsider being a donor. If most people in America are fat, chances are if I get hit by a bus my organs will go to some fatty who ate too many Pringles and wore out his own organs with his stupidity. I don't want that. But I don't think there's a "no fatties" clause that can be legally implemented for an organ donor.
I've just done a bit of reading up on this after someone else mentioned race. It seems there is a whole lot more reading I would have to do if I wanted to find the answer. But it seems like getting on the list is rather exclusive. While being a celebrity, or of a certain race doesn't apparently matter nor get you on the list at a higher position, overall health does.
So apparently, your organs are more likely to go to a generally healthy and/or young person. From my cursory reading.
