There is literally NO POINT in shopping at those stores if you're a normal sized human. I've got a 33" waist at 5'10.5" and I can't find anything there that fits right.

Slimabuns ago

I'm a girl who is 5'11 and have to wear small. Shit looks ludicrous on me.

Mitchhhhhh ago

I'm 6'4 190 and wear pretty much only medium, gonna have to get large soon as my upper back/shoulders have grown a decent amount this year, but even medium is sometimes not as snug at the bottom as I'd like it to be, large will be even worse :/

Veghead ago

I am 10 # heavier than my high school weight but a smaller pant size

Circlejerkmember ago

I'm all for everyone hating fats but just read this guy's comment history he's a racist as they come and has no problem with people sleeping with 10 year old kids

juicedidwtc ago

I'm not racist; I'm a racial realist. It's absurd to think that blacks have anywhere near the intelligence of whites. I mean just look how they behave like apes.

And to clarify, I just think it's a victimless crime in cases where it's consensual. Now I don't think that's the majority of cases where a 10yo has sex with an adult, but it does happen. I don't think people should be punished in those circumstances where it's a mutual loving relationship

Appleseed12333 ago

dude...just stop.

Mike-Sanders ago

After reading all of that, I think I need a shower.

splengborg ago

I relate. I have a 32 inch waist. The pants I ended up buying say "29 inch" on the waist.

Also, finding pants that are the correct width and length is a total bitch.

nobslob ago

I mostly shop at Nordstroms or Macys, the higher end brands there are cut very well. It's pricey, but worth it if you want to look well dressed. Ted Baker is my favorite brand for shirts.

Buying shirts at target... <shudders>

GreffeduFoie ago

No worries, soon you'll be in kids clothing like us shitladies. I can wear a girls size 12 sometimes. Used to be 14/16 but who the hell knows by now. My husband always buys mediums for shirts and I have to remind him he needs a small now. He's 5'8" and 135lbs.

Celtic_Queen ago

Do they sell kids clothes by age where you are? In the UK they do and even today, I had to peruse the kids clothes at a market because they are the only ones that would have fit me. The same stall had TONS of UK sizes 16, 18, 20 , 22 and up, a quarter of a rail of clothes from size 8 up and nothing else. I can wear size 8 but it's too big on me and I like to wear my clothes fitted. I wear UK size 4/US 0 and UK 6/US 4.

I am 25 and can wear age 11-12 and up, I don't want to look like a little girl so even then I have a limited choice unless I want My Little Pony all over me, it is so demoralising sometimes but cheers me up other times, we are adult women should never be able to wear children's clothes yet here we are. At least it is something that we could shame fatties with!

juicedidwtc ago

My gf is already there. i like it because she looks adorable in kids clothes but she hates looking like a little girl

GreffeduFoie ago

That's a bit creepy...

SeethingHatred ago

I know the feeling. As a 6'1 male who has lifted weights and done martial arts for 20 years, I wear a calvin klein medium t-shirt and small boxer briefs <---insert dick size joke here. Apparently if you have a 30" waist, you are some kind of weird freak as a man in 2017... SMH.

Celtic_Queen ago

My fiancé is 6"3 and has a 30 inch waist, finding anything to wear for his bottom half is a nightmare, he lives in belts. Finding the 30inch waist isn't so bad but finding ones for his leg length too - nope, not happening.

SeethingHatred ago

My biggest problem is with jeans. The companies assume that anyone with a 30" waist is a beanpole with tiny legs. I can't even get skinny jeans over my damn calves much less my thighs. Apparently actual fit, athletic people are so rare these days, most companies don't even bother catering to them any more.

I found a type of Levi's that fit so I'll just stick with them from now on.

Celtic_Queen ago

I am glad you have found at least one company that will cater to you, I understand the frustration.

get_into_the_box ago

I'm a size Small...except every clothes manufacturer seems to assume that I have a tiny chest, noodle arms, and a beer gut, whereas I'm the exact opposite.

SKOshitlordCU ago

For me, since my chest and shoulders are large, I have to wear a large. Feels like a fucking dress. Mediums choke the shit out of me, which is the curse of never skipping trap/lat/delt/pec.... rephrase, never skipping the gym... I wish I could find a shirt that fit me my chest and also hugged my trunk. I didn't work hard to hide behind a shirt that goes almost to my knees.

FreedomToast ago

I cannot even wear CK slim fit. The arms are designed beyond human shape to accompany massive circumference. I feel as if I am wearing a cloak in their shirts or having massive hanging skin folds. If I have 6" of hanging fabric, just maybe the slim fit may be poorly designed. I cannot wait until the societal rebound towards a normal human shape.

I hope Calvin Klein's PR team reads this; based on your shi(r)t dimensions I wholly associate you with whales pretending they are not fat. You are the most egregious example of vanity sizing. Calvin Klein is clearly worn by fat people who are stupid and spend money on brand products. Enjoy the short-term profits as you are depreciating your brand. Come dig out of your hole in 20 years. Calvin Klein: fat clothes for fat people.

love_rape ago

I lift and wear CK small t-shirts. The sleeves sometimes roll up over my biceps, but they're a decent and snug fit otherwise.

theepilepticferret ago

Damn, I guess even men's clothing isn't safe from vanity sizing.

love_rape ago

Haven't noticed so much of that here in Europe. When it comes to unsized things I'm always a size S for Small.

When it comes to shirts/jeans/suits and "proper" clothes everything is measured in inches. Men don't have to deal with sizes the same way women do for their outfits. (All the women in my life would significantly prefer dresses/skirts/etc to be sized in CM/inches. Precisely to avoid vanity/fake-measurements.)

Celtic_Queen ago

I wish woman's clothes were in inches/cms for the exact same reason as the women in your life, even size 0 (rare in the UK) can be baggy as hell on me.

hiddenbutt ago

It would be nice. Especially if dresses were sold with bust/waist/hip measurements.

chryseos-geckota ago

Fatties ruin everything. Health concern about it too. Fatties won't know how huge they are...well they'll know but having numbers thrown in their face about how exceptionally obese one is compared to average had a bigger impact.

Swolebroshitlord1 ago

I second this. How DYEL & scrawny are you OP?

juicedidwtc ago

im 180lbs. I lift but not as much as some guys

juicedidwtc ago

nah it was actually a pair of shorts

Mr_Wolf ago

lounge pants and gym shorts are all weird sizes if you try to buy cheap. large has a massive waist and normal length, and the meduim fits a little loose in the waist and cuts off your nuts on the inseam.

I'm starting to feel like I need to bring all my new clothes to a tailor just so I have a nice fit.

Rialed ago

So you wear crop tops or what?

uvulectomy ago

Probably wears whatever he thinks will attract pre-teen children for a "consensual" relationship.

Apparently he also likes to see his gf dressed in children's clothing.

Disgusting.

uvulectomy ago

And the poor girl probably doesn't realize it means he'd leave her in a second for a "younger woman" (i.e. a 10y/o). Of course, that's assuming his "girlfriend" is actually over 18. Given his post history, I have legitimate doubts.

juicedidwtc ago

We have a very honest relationship. She already knows what I find attractive. Also she is 21 now (although we started when she was much younger) and we already have an unbreakable bond where we are just going to be together forever. I'm planning on proposing this summer.
