I think it's a modesty thing or something for the girls, like they're young so they need to be focusing on school rather than trying to be pretty. But yeah if you shaved most 7yo's heads it would be pretty hard to tell one way or another bc they're basically all the same before they hit puberty and start getting secondary sex characteristics.
The funniest part is that women that size have to ask "am i getting fat?" Like you fucking don't know. I think this is some kind of comedy but it happens IRL all the time.
