Is the physical world a virtual reality? (conspiracy)

Here's a paper that makes the (in my opinion, very compelling) argument that the physical, observable universe is a virtual reality using known laws of physics, many of which are paradoxical and/or contradictory (as I'm sure many here are aware).

If nothing else, it's something interesting to think about.

Well, consciousness seems to operate in a kind of feedback loop, just like a Mandelbrot equation.

I don't think it's a matrix-style VR, but our reality is indeed a global theater. At the very top there is no conflict but the further down we go the illusion becomes so strong we fight among each other for bullshit reasons like political parties, race and sex issues. None of this matters.
