Why should we "discuss" when you've put zero thought into your post?

You're like Mike Myers from "Coffee Talk" on Saturday Night Live:

  • "The Partridge Family were neither partridges, nor a family. Discuss."
  • "The Progressive Era was neither progressive nor an era. Discuss."
  • "The New Deal was neither new nor was it a deal. Discuss."
  • "Palmolive – it's neither palm, nor olive. Discuss."
  • "Grape-Nuts – it contains neither grapes, nor nuts. Discuss."
  • "Rhode Island is neither a road nor is it an island. Discuss."

You should "discuss" it here because this topic is somewhat of a canary in a coalmine. If we can openly discuss it, then "they" aren't here...yet. Have you not seen the blatant, heavy handed censorship in the old gangstalking subreddit?

My point is that typically people make self.posts by typing some stuff:

  • "Here's my topic"
  • "Here's why I believe it's true."
  • "Here's some evidence to support my theory"
  • "Here's why you should believe it too"

Start with a premise. Built up an argument. Back it up with facts. Provide links. Persuade the reader. Just dropping a question in the title and saying "discuss" is the lazy way out. If you can't be bothered to try to convince me about your theory, then I can't be bothered to reply.

Except you replied anyway...
