I see now what that "lunatic" is talking about. I can see possibly why he seems quite mad.

The whole website is an upvoat farm for these fags. Its nauseating at times to see these people and their alts fluffing and blowing each other all over the place. And I see now how it can be misconstrued as censorship.

If you have a name recognizable to them, they will automatically downvoat you to oblivion so you are limited in participating on voat. Even if you take good time to write out an actual, well thought out response or idea, you will be labeled as 'sanegoat' and immediately dismissed. I understand how over and over this may push someone over to the looney bin. But maybe only if you care too much about this whole thing.

Through different conversations, posts, and memes, Voat has helped evolve my perception and enhance my critical thinking about the real world. Voat is not a "place". To me its a tool to keep your mind sharp. Therefore, I dont give a shit. I will use this tool in a way that best fits me. Anyone else can use it however they want as well.

I would care if someone stepped in dog shit and tracked it all over my home. I would care if someone posted shit steps all throughout my business. But this is not a place, and it is not mine.
