I've been considering joining the masons. I've heard both positive and negative things about them, but I'm uncertain. I know they can't answer certain things due to the secrecy of the order, but their stance on the US political institution is probably my deciding factor. I'm hoping that people chose on their own and their vote wasn't encouraged like the Catholic Church does.
