I feel that this is a particularly dense question; but.. what are the uses for such a feature? Not that it's a bad thing because I'm sure somebody will have a use for it.
Good question. In /v/ideasforwhoaverse, I will use it to tag submissions with "solved", "implemented", "rejected" etc. Other subs can use it as well, for example, askmeanything where moderators can verify that op is who he says he is and apply a "verified" flair.
