Update: link flair is implemented (announcements)

I just finished implementing link flair feature.

  • Subverse owners (clearance level 1) can set up custom flair labels and CSS classes.

  • Owners and moderators can then apply these flairs to submissions by visiting the comments page of a submission and clicking the "flair" button which will show a popup dialog with a list of all available flairs. Clicking on one of the available flairs will automatically apply the flair and close the popup dialog.

I feel that this is a particularly dense question; but.. what are the uses for such a feature? Not that it's a bad thing because I'm sure somebody will have a use for it.

Good question. In /v/ideasforwhoaverse, I will use it to tag submissions with "solved", "implemented", "rejected" etc. Other subs can use it as well, for example, askmeanything where moderators can verify that op is who he says he is and apply a "verified" flair.
