Sorry to be thick but how does one accrue CCP then ? It appears to me that your CCP count is going up as I upvote you.
The code was changed six months ago by an owner of voat username puttitout. According to what I understand, the way we have this set up, smurfy69 should not be able to gain any points the way we have this set up.
If we gain points it doesn't mean kevdude is lying, it means something is buggy in the code or something.
To me being hidden from v/all is an irritation but not a dealbreaker. There are other ways to get info out. And Lord knows with some of the posts that are being upvoted and allowed to fester on the forum it may be a blessing not to have the wider world see the crap we have to wade through.
I don't think the code is buggy. It makes no sense to have a rule where no matter what limit you set for CCP the points do not increase when people upvote comments.
