Why does the picture appear to be Neptune? That's confusing as hell

Mercury, too. 176 (earth days) sunrise to sunrise. 58 (earth days) 1 rotation. 88 (earth days) per year.

There's a theory I read once that states that the atmosphere's incredible thickness and density causes light to refract like crazy. If you could stand on the surface without dying instantly, the horizon would appear to curve upward.

It might look something like this on the once-in-a-lifetime clear-ish day:

"Venus rotates backwards compared to the other planets in the Solar System."

could venus of one day been rotating like us then something affected its rotation to flip, and thats why the day is longer than the year? cause the spin is still flipping so its still restabilizing? maybe one day we will be able to see the day speed up as the rotation grows?

just something i thought.

Like a planet that was once between Mars and Jupiter exploding, and a large mass of said former planet hit, or ce close to hitting Venus, and that caused it to spin I the other direction?

Or, Venus once belonged to another star system and all the planets of that system spun the other way. One day this star system got too close to us and the gravity of our sun stole Venus from the orbit of the other sun.

good theories very interesting

Seems like theres more material than from just 1 planet though right?
