Etymology is a hobby of mine. Not a lot of reasons to select a username like that. No notable historical figures share it. It's not a pun. But it is a common abbreviation of the last name "Crenshaw".
Am I close?

He is really good at creating names, I have asked him once or twice before. Probably only thing he is good at creation wise.
